About us or why MetalsCut4U exists

J. J. Nipp

I needed to create a duplicate bracket plate for a basketball goal bought a couple of months ago. There were supposed to be two in the box but there was only one. We didn't want to box it up and haul it back to the store as it was mostly built, the goal maker's tech support was useless, so i decided to make the part myself; but I couldn't find that size flat aluminum stock anywhere locally. I found MetalsCut4U online and ordered up the size we needed. When I received the part about 10 days later, I marked the bolt hole locations and drilled them myself. The part fits great! We're now able to use the basketball goal. The part came in smooth with no rough edges. I measured the dimensions and they were spot-on. MetalsCut4U is a great service that will be kept in mind on future project needs.

Very nice work, good quality metal, and fast turn around.

I found this company online and was hoping to have a good experience. I placed my order through the website and had a bit of an issue with the measurements when the product arrived. I sent a quick email (expecting to get lost in the shuffle). I received a call about 1 minute of the email being sent! The gentleman walked me through the issue and assured me that the newest order would be arriving in a few days! Sure enough! It was perfect! Yes, I was pleased with my product; however, the customer service was extraordinary!

Cutting sheet metal, like Steel, Aluminum or Stainless Steel is nothing new. In fact, metal has been worked upon to fit a certain purpose for centuries and helped our ancestors to progress. While in the past metal was formed and shaped over hours, days and weeks and was only accessible for those who could afford it, today everyone can go and buy a piece of sheet metal and work on it so it fits the purpose of the project.

Is that so?

Well maybe, cutting sheet metal like Steel, Aluminum or Stainless Steel can be done if you have the right tools for it. But most of us do not have the tools to cut sheet metal to size, nor have we the experience and knowledge to handle sheet metal like a professional would do.

We all have all kinds of tools available to work on wood, but none that could cut metal, or sheet metal properly.

The other possibility to get to the sheet metal part you need is that you ask someone, who knows a guy who has access to a local metal fabrication company, who eventually will be able to give you what you want. A lengthily and most of the times a pricy process - but possible.

This is where MetalsCut4U comes in.

We offer you the possibility to order your individual custom cut sheet metal in only 4 easy steps. We even bend and weld it to the shape you need and send it off to you. All within just a few business days for the metal fabrication process at a very reasonable price in the quantity you really need.

We are currently offering 14 different shapes and forms, which we cut, bend and weld. You will have the choose from a variety of different sheet metal that is made out of Steel, Aluminum or Stainless Steel with different finishes and thicknesses.
